It’s a pain to take out. I’ve done Celestion tweeters that had lost sensitivity due to the stuff hardening over the years. I reassembled with no goo (!) and got treble back.

Yes I love classic jazz. Not especially the fusion kind, although I did like Uzeb back in the early 80’s.

I do not like Miles Davis particularly – I bought Kind of Blue just to know what the reviewers were talking about in the late 80’s. So I have this record and that’s it. It’s alright, but the recording leaves much to be desired. No way this will be used as a dem record.

I like our Chardonnays. I have my favourite, have had it for 30 years. Mâcon Lugny Les Charmes. Cheap (here) and reliable.

My beans are not industrial. I get them locally.

I steer well clear of those odd contraptions. I either do Nespressos (they can be very good) or French press, in which case I grind my beans with a manual grinder. Or if in a hurry with an electric one, but then at the expense of some flavour. Anyway, each time one proud owner of those prepared...

Do turntables really get better than this? A lovely deck. If Pro-Ject made it (I doubt they could) it would cost considerably more. A bargain.
