Looking at the pictures again , it appears from the photos that there may be worn paint or other defects , appears is the word , the high gloss finish is excellent to near mint and these “defects “ are reflections

Could be they were in for a full service/ rebuild 2003/4 but I had to sell up and Les found a lucky buyer

I always look back with great fondness on the Grad 1, TPX2 and M1 mono blocks, with REV 2's I also had a set of M2's in the process of a refurb,(which I never got to listen to) but sadly had to sell up back in 2004. To this day I'd love to hear a full Les set up again. :(

I changed my bass drivers for the Monacor SPH 135C drive units on Les's advice and the improvement in the bass was substantial. But check the size of the aperture, I believe some may be smaller?

I have had several pairs of these and a pair of Rev 2's I'd say £800, very rare indeed and an excellent speaker. I'm sure others will have opinion and you'll soon get a very good idea of the market for these, by the way why not use them?
