I’m intrigued about the Dragon Newt in the 135 idea mentioned above. I wasn’t aware that was ‘a thing’. Is that alongside the Phoenix or instead of? What’s the advantage? It’s not something that was previously offered AFAIK.

Glad to see this post. I have Dragon Newts in a Supercap and Phoenixes in 4x135s and together with the servicing JJ did some years back the system is so energetic and compelling I cannot get over it. I’m also using a super linked 82.

Just to comment on the Superlink mod, I had the SC upgraded by Witch Hat to use their Newt boards, and the Phoenix boards put in the power amp. Along with the Superlink mod to the 82 I’m blown away by the results and I’d best describe it as Naim, but much more so. There is more detail, more...

As a new member I’m grateful for the resurrection of this thread. Has anyone tried the Phoenix boards from Witch Hat, please? I’m interested, and I’m curious as to how well they complement the NAC 82 superlink upgrade I saw mentioned on another forum.
