I have RFC Rubato on demo and the moment. They would perfectly fit the bill, work great across all levels, much preferred over the Dynaudio Special 40s or Proac D2R that I also had in for demo. Lots of other good suggestions above.

Demo essential - the D30rs are amazing speakers, but in my 15 x 18 ft room, I felt like the pressure from the sound waves were going to explode my house, otherwise I would have loved to keep them. Much more open sound than the D20rs.

Read again - everything becomes obsolete ’in time’. Nobody said what that timeframe is. It applies equally to dedicated streamers as to general computers. Nobody is telling you to change your computer just for the hell of it.

Your PC, your phone etc, all become obsolescent in time, with similar poor resale values. Streamers come in a very wide range of prices, some way less than any current computer, so it’s not much of an argument. There is simply no need to ‘object’, they aren’t some kind of religion or doctrine...

I have heard those exact speakers in a medium large demo room, they won’t have any problem filling your space. I’m not going to comment on their sound quality, as you already have stated you like them. Obviously always a good idea to demo as many as you can, especially at home.
