CD player as transport to Hugo TT.

I bought the Cambridge CXC for my Cyrus system when my Little Dot transport bit the dust. Very pleased with it and the price is not at all high for the sound and build quality.

Manufacturers that fail to support older equipment

You will not be alone in that but brand loyalty from existing customers and new customers buying the latest units will probably be enough for them not to have to support older units.

Manufacturers that fail to support older equipment

Much as I agree that it is annoying that manufacturers cease supporting their older units as I am a fan of Cyrus systems and they no longer suport much of their older gear. These people have to be able to make a profit and pay their employees, taxes etc etc etc so maybe it is just not a viable...

When my Little Dot CD transport decided to start playing silly games I went for the Cambridge CXC. Pleasantly surprised at the bang for buck ratio.

    sending speakers by courier

I have always used UPS with all my hi fi and non hi fi related courier deliveries on their overnight service so that the items are in the system for the shortest time possible. So far I have always had a good result.

Definitely grilles off,my Epos M12.2`s have metal grilles,I think that they look and sound better off.
