I’d go with the Ittok LVII as my arm of choice. The LVX didn’t ever cut the mustard with me and felt and sounded lightweight. I also used a Origin Live Silver Mk2 and that was a decent arm on my LP12.

Comparing my XS2 against a 5i and it’s far better. More punch, bigger sound and feels more in control. For that price mint it’s a no brainer too.

I’m running mine through my Audiolab 8200CDQ and it’s much better now.

I wasn’t having a dig at Naim or their owners, I am actually a Naim user with my XS2 and I’ve owned many of their wonderful amps in the past but I hope one day they will introduce something that doesn’t need an upgrade and it’s bang on perfect from the off.

Sadly no one system plays all recordings to the same enjoyment level and you get used to knowing that a particular bands albums are poorly produced. As what others have said, reach a level where you are happy and stick with it. Throw away those upgrade itches. Unless of course you own any Naim...

I take it your not a photographer then as Sony are making some very impressive cameras and lenses these days. Cracking pictures too and the detail is superb.
