Actually the Jriver software loaded onto the mini pc will play all of the music on your hard drive. It will show album details and sort by many different criteria such as artist, album and many more. I use exactly this on a similar mini pc. Jremote is a free app on iOS and access the music...
Sorry if this too late but Jriver software on a laptop and Jremote app on your phone will allow you to select any music on your hard drive remotely.
Cost is about £25.
According to this link class 1 will support up to 24bit/ 96KhZ whereas for 24/192 you need class 2. Whether you can hear any worthwhile difference between 96 and 192 is another matter.

One way to do this is to install Jriver on your NUC. This can be configured to deliver Tidal

I haven’t done that comparison. I preferred a windows tablet running Jriver to a Melco which I had on a week’s home demo. So it is a credible statement to me.
