    Linn Karousel Bearing oil check?.

Possible adjustment hole. If it is adjustable then the lift 'box' would need to be removed from arm for access or remove arm from deck. Best check with a dealer. However there is no information on this hole in either set up instructions LINN or Clearaudio or how to adjust the lift mechanism...

    Linn Karousel Bearing oil check?.

I dabbled in the past with using shims under the mat or differnet mat thickness having set the optimum VTA with respect to the thickest vinyl. If the arm lift leaves the stylus still touching the vinyl you could try adjusting the arm lift height if possible,

    Active Crossovers, anyone dabbled?

None of these have user adjustable time delay and integrating subs perfectly to main 'speakers is hit and miss. I know that the Exposure V and NAIM SNAXO don't have this but the new EXPOSURE VXN are work in progress for me and Tony Brady at Exposure may have built this in for factory set up...

    Active Crossovers, anyone dabbled?

I think they are some of the best from the retail analog active x-overs and the new VXN are superb. I am partial to EXPOSURE amps etc over 40 years and 30 years with active. Downside is you need EXPOSURE to set them up for specific 'speaker x-over frequencies though there is user adjustable gain...

    Active Crossovers, anyone dabbled?

I love active crossovers and have a few retail versions in my collection Esposure V - I have two of these for NAIM SBL and IBL Exposure VXN 2-way to be used for NAIM S600 Ovators work in progress. NAIM SNAXO 3-way for NAIM NBL Exposure VXN 3-way balanced (four box affair) to replace the above...

Is this a safe way to complete a purchase?

Leave well alone! I had a similar situation some years ago and even though I had a nagging feeling proceeded. The ESCROW handling the monies sent through via email some forms to fill in: The first page was standard and OK but the second and third page were full-on data grabbing scam which I...

    She's had enough!! Time for a tin-opener thread :)

Culinare C10007 This is the dirrect descendant (various company buy outs) to one my Mother purchased in the late 80s and used for decades and I have now been using it for at least ten years so it must be thirty plus years old and working fine. I prefer to use it even when the can has the pull...

Recommended movies etc on Netflix/Amazon Prime III

Blue Eye Samurai on NETFLIX is superb. The stylized 2d/3d animation draws you in to the story and you feel like you are there. The story has hints of Kill Bill to it but broader in context.
