New band find for me with Salem and Dark Days Like walking off a cliff. Starts with a gentle melodic rocker and ends pretty heavy. Twin leads, snarling vocals and great lyrics along the way. http://www.salemband.co.uk/

I remember there are two types of spdif, ttl and consumer level, sadly thats about all I can remember as I've been i2s for years. I think the differences are only with respect to voltage.

Yes PD recomended me the Panasonic electrect a few years ago and I picked some up for pennies but switched to the UMIK1 as it integrates so easily with REW. Glued mine on the end of a nylon tube.

I can see why you placed the mic stand where you did but thats quite a chunk of steel work real close to the driver. Would be interesting to see results with the boom right out and the stand out of the way.

Its caused by a reflection from the single speaker arriving back at the microphone latter (out of phase) than the primary signal. You did load the microphone callibration file? I recall that I had problems with gain of both microphone and REW output signal. At one point REW was so loud it...
