A dCS Bartok would make for a great all in one streaming solution. But money-wise - just a tad too much for me despite being a possible end game bit of kit. Nice to know it's made and developed in the UK too.
Has the Cisco helped stabilise your streaming situation?
Even though I have Cisco's to hand - I have never bothered to install them in my own audio system so I'm interested in the outcome from your experience.
About the Qutest, I've read somewhere that the 2V and 1V option is digitally attenuated. So in essence the 3V option would be for the purist!
All interesting stuff.
That's a very exact recipe.
I take it you've spent a lot of time tweaking your Qutest to the very best it could possibly be!

I shouldn’t read into these things but it seems that using HQPlayer remotely into an NAA endpoint keeps the RFI generating MScaler option away from the Qutest.

Sorry again - getting ahead of myself.
Yes sorry - how do I get the best sound quality from the Chord Qutest? One example seems to be by streaming from HQPlayer at a sampling rate that will bypass the Qutest digital filter.
Sorry I am getting ahead of myself - I should just use the Chord as it stands with the filter options given...
I have recently purchased a used Qutest (from eBay) - to evaluate and then sell on for little loss if I don't get on with it.
I need to give it a chance by setting it up for best sound quality - I do have a high quality PSU (which I acquired from this forum) for starters.
I understand I am...
Well we will see. What initially puts me off is following the crowd of many that just bought this DAC on the strength of many excellent (maybe sponsored) reviews.
I don't feel unique in owning something like this because so many audiophiles have one.
But - if they are right they are right -...
