i have an akai unit which was about £130 its got four ins and outs, midi and four usb inputs- very retro with proper VU's and works great for me

that was actually martina topley bird who was actually still in school when tricky 'discovered' her maybe one for the operation yew tree boys

also should stick to guitar playing…..erm, oh

possibly, its the well-worth-a-visit second hand shop just outside the main drag of birkenhead opposite the rather awful 'hammersound' musical instrument shop hope this is a help
