it's a sin for a naimee to run an LP12 with ekos. you're lucky huckabee is out of the hunt.

How right you are but my shop went with Linn after The Split. I felt obliged to put my money where my mouth was concerning my customers. For the same reason, did the same with my 42/110--sold it for an LK-1/2. Roughly six months later I quit working there.
 
Simple answer this :-

1971 Garrard Sp25 (lost in travels - no regrets)
1974 to present ~ Connoisseur BD2 (though during interim also tried a Michel Focus as well as a Thorens TD 160 this given by my Dad ~ which I still have & use for 45 speed mainly)

To clarify I still use the Connoisseur BD2 & love it

That's it
 
The BD2 was a great little table in its day. Back in the mid-seventies, in our shop, it sounded better than most other tables at any price (and back when we had no idea that tables could "sound")

Linn LP12/Basik -- bought from Pog -- added an Ekos
'Ninja' Modified LP12/ARO -- Traded for my LP/12 with JW/Mana
Then back to my LP12/Ekos -- which I hugely preferred.

Since 2002: Michell Orbe/Mørch UP4/Denon DL160 (which beats them all)
 
Dual CS505 - My first deck after I had to return a PL12D...

Logic DM101 / Datum / AT-F3 and 5 - long gone and missed
