Your Loudspeaker history...

Main System:
70s: Jr149s
80s: Celef PE1s/Linn Kan Mk1..still have and use both.

Second System:
80s: Keesonic Kubs - now have 3 pairs , one pair in our house is Scotland and 2 pairs as front/rears in the HT set up - powered by 4 Meridian 105s amps

My god this is a short list.

Dear Mr Ribee

After I have recovered from the high quality co-op red wine I have just consumed at the princely sum of £2.99 a bottle, I will post my modest speaker history. It has to be said that quantity will far outweigh quality.

Dear Mr Rodrat

I will alert pfm HQ to free up some server space in anticipation of your magnum opus and practice my Sid James impersonation with some key phrases such as "cor, look at the size of them honkers" and "now you don't get many of them to the pound nurse" in order to comment suitably whilst still awed at the size of it.

Fellow Spica owner. I compared Spica Angelus with the Spendor S3/5 at home over a weekend, and I thought the Spica's slaughtered the Spendors in every conceivable regards. Great speakers those Spicas. Just too big and ugly to be keepers.

don't you find it curious that whenever a charlatan makes significant impact on a user (see dave in other threads, with other charlatan), we see stuff like this posted?

it's a shame you didn't have someone around to help you set up the mana correctly.

Hi Robert,

very long ago, you had some Bolivar thingies - we loved these and the bass was as good as the classic JBL's they were derived from - especially in the three way version (B 125's?)

I hope I've still got all those HiFi Choice compilation tests from this era in the loft.....
