[WTD] Dac for transport and usb input and optical.

Hi all I looking for a good day you use with a cd player as a transport and to stream music with usb.
Not Sure where to start?

You're going to get inundated with suggestions. We need to narrow it down.

So, what's the budget
 
I would say £500 is tops.
I am using a Cambridge 840c at the moment so that's a cd player with digital inputs. I also have a sonyx77es and a big Kenwood cd player 1100sg witch I can use as transports.

I have an M2Tech Young DAC MKII which is DSD capable, it also has an external balanced power supply that would be within budget if of any interest.
 
I have a Project Pro S2 Dac that supports DSD512 & 768 PCM I connect to my Sony SACD player via Coax a Pi4 via USB and Optical via a mechanical Optical switch to TV/Computer/SBT Project have just launched a 2023 version. Excellent value for money for a quality DAC
