Thankfully we're in a ground floor flat with concrete floors. As I mentioned upthread I'm a little uneasy that I can't access under the bath and see what's going on but at least I don't have to worry about flooding a neighbour below!
SUCCESS!!! Bath now drains properly!
You've probably flooded Chalk Farm tube station.
The OP has a chronic problem with his drains.
As a teen I used to work in a pub kitchen, when the sink drains blocked we used to pressurise the pipes from the beer CO2 gas bottle!I bought one of these about forty years ago, never let me down. Just be careful of how hard you pressurise the chamber as it’s capable of blowing the joints apart!

Sounds like someone has passed more than a buck...Good stuff, glad you got it sorted.
I was at a 20m new build house yesterday and the drains stank, … not a problem the builder, or the architect, or the plumber wanted to take responsibility for! They were all passing the buck.
Always good fun. I've had the same in factories with lines that don't work. I just get all the suppliers in the same room and beat them all up every week until they sort it out. They always get bored before I do. Oh, and I'm the *nice* guy.Good stuff, glad you got it sorted.
