Altered Images - Happy Birthday

Got this on release, and around 1990 replaced vinyl with good sounding cd.
Too young for 1976, so my journey to the centre of punk began late 1970s with the likes of Altered Images.

I got this at a jumble sale mid 90s.
It's a handy collection of crowd pleasers with fine sound quality.
Been to a few private parties, but in similar well loved condition as when I bought it.

Some classics there, The Isleys track is pure infectious Motown, the Little Anthony track, 'Better use your head', used to be a biggie at the mod nights I would attend back in the 80s. Not too keen on the Judy Street track, but Soft Cell did a fantastic version of it. Soft Cell - What? - YouTube

:)

I like the Judy Street and the Soft Cell version.

Same goes for this classic. Marc Bolan’s sacked chauffeur…

A You Tube interlude:
Crosby Stills Nash, Young & Tom Jones - Long time Gone
followed by
Crosby Stills Nash & Young - Down By The River

You're right there should be a code "The album comes with extensive sleevenotes by Steve Barker (Wire magazine) and comes as a double gatefold vinyl + download".
