Harbeth 30.2 XD, Rega Osiris, Rega Aria , Planar 10 Apheta 3. I am planning on getting some alcove shelves built for it to sit on but this is it for now.
Beautiful system. And sorry to be be all middle-class, but is that Farrow & Ball Bancha on the walls? We're about to embark on a lounge redecoration project and that's what we'll be having on the walls (based on your picture, it looks so much better IRL).

Yes you are right that is the colour.

A very beautiful colour and nicely relaxed room layout.
Might I make a small suggestion for shelves... put some dividers in for the LPs to stop terminal slide, I saved the dowels from my dad's shelves when my mum moved house as they work perfectly.

Another great system!

Another great system!

I aspired to this system having heard one similar in 2010 in France.

Obviously, the goalposts have shifted slightly:

The Tannoy Kensington SEs I heard then are their successors, the GRs now.

The valve amps they were using then were equivalent to what I was using. My power amp has been modified a coupe of times by the original designer to now include a custom Sowter mains transformer and the power supply has had recently been further improved in the power amp.

The dCS Puccini CD player was fantastic but subsequently I heard an Accuphase DP410 and it was better; I am using its successor, the DP450.

Goals were set; they've been reached.

This has been my approach rather than going round in circles with random box swaps.

That seems to be a rather smaller room than I would think Kensington GR would prefer to live in. Is it not oppressive?

It is 3m X 5m. Beforehand I had Turnberry SEs. They also have 10-inch drivers, are broader and shorter. The cabinet volume is slightly less.

When Simon and Robert came to measure the room about ten years ago the in-room frequency response extended to 30 Hz with the Turnberrys which are rated at 34Hz. The Kensingtons are supposed to go down to 29 Hz.

I'd like a slightly bigger room but not much bigger. There is no bass boom as such.

New one, about the same length but pretty much square and a bit taller ceiling height...
Needs a few bits to liven it up a little, we want to put back in the picture rail that is present in the rest of the house, and some more feature lighting too.
