H M Customs & Excise - A problem?

Hopefully it will show up on Monday, but fwiw when a chassis I bought via AliExpress disappeared last year (delivered to the wrong address I think) I received a full refund.

Sorry to hijack the thread (sort of) but if I bought say an amp from Germany for £1000 would I expect to pay roughly 25% on top in VAT and import taxes so 1000 x 1.25 = £1250

You would have VAT, import duty & and the courier will charge an admin fee to collect the VAT & import duty so yes you should budget between 25% & 30% on top of the asking price.

Isn't Brexit grand.

That depends on how much your seller declares the value as..but yes 25-30% on top of declared value.
