Really simple passive pre?

foxwelljsly

Me too, I ate one sour too.
Looking for a basic passive pre with two inputs, one output and zero attenuation at full wick.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Here’s one I made. A TKD pot, tupperware container and some nice fancy cloth covered solid-core wire. It sounds superb, within a very, very short distance of my highly sought after Audio Synthesis stepped attenuator passive preamps (I have a Passion and ProPassion).

I received a Tisbury pre a couple weeks back which is doing a fine job playing with a Quad 303 and a pair of LS3/5a's. Apparently there are better passive preamps out there so it depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

It sounds good to me and having adjustible gain control and record out might come in handy. Nicely finished for the price I thought as well.
