Recorded in a Brighton theatre. Melancholic magnificence.

It may help if you're a fey Lancastrian with romantic tendencies.

Not played this LP for a long time and really enjoying it. So many jazz reissues coming out that some get forgotten in the stampede:

Tone Poet vinyl

This send me back for a further listen. I had this down as one of my least interesting TPs but, on revisiting, it is really enjoyable and has fabulous sound: the sax and trumpet have incredible presence.
 
Just arrived from a nice Dutch man called Eric.

Sounds better than my old mixtape from 1989.

I need more of this series - Maybe # 20 next?
