Thinking harder, I seem to recall it was a IA.150, 80w per channel, the heatsink used to get super hot, great amp though
Still got mine from early ‘80s. Do regret moving on the 568.2MM with their matching DVD player, had a huge clear-out in 2016 cos making 2017 looked touch and go.

From top down:
Bespoke energiser for Stax headphones
ARC CD9 feeding top shelf balanced
ARC Ref5 pre
darTZeel power amp

There’s a vinyl setup to the right getting little use, and a pair of Magico V2’s either side.

Amazing set up!

Lovely system and room.

Interesting. How big is the room and do you have any issues with full range speakers in a room tha(looks) small?

The room is 10X10 itself with the doors closed. With the sliding doors fully slid open the room then effectively becomes 10x25 (opens up to the dining room). With this the speakers are setup in nearfield listening position.

@Jazzyguy - lovely system. I have a Bluesound 2 and 2i and can certainly recommend auditioning some external DACs, even as good as the internal one already is.

I was in a room that size for 13 yrs. My current listening room is slightly smaller and I get great sound in that room. I used to have to squeeze all of my physical media in the previous room, now most of it is out in other living spaces.

I suppose if you position the footmen in the back corners, they’ll be quite effective bass traps. ;)

What a refreshing system and room.
Lovely!

Your room looks stunning Jazzguy, the hifi certainly takes a back seat in your photos for me, even though you have a great system.

That is the kind of room one could contemplate the following day's manoeuvres in. I imagine there's an equally plush pair of slippers somewhere that often reside on that footstool :)
