Brexit: give me a positive effect... XV

It’s Carry On Up The Shankhill at the Express this morning:

LORD David Frost has lambasted opposite number Maros Sefcovic over the EU's petty refusal to allow English oaks to be transported to Northern Ireland to be planted in honour of the Queen's Platinum anniversary next year.

Frosty: “We have seen the Jewish community in Northern Ireland saying they feel at risk because they are struggling to import kosher products from elsewhere in the UK”.

“And the Brexit minister admitted recent trips to the North had filled him with “deep concern” at the situation - while stressing the UK was ready to take steps to “safeguard our own position””. Is it to use the people of N.Ireland as a distraction from how much trouble his boss is in and that a majority of Brits regret leaving ?

…..the Queen can’t get her English oaks planted in Ireland. The Jewish community- all seventy of them- can’t get kosher products apparently, yet a population 50 times bigger can a few miles to the south and his deep concern isn’t shared by the majority in N.I who are quite happy with the current Protocol. Really, what is the point of Frost?

Unelected meat shield for Bozo, to be used and discarded once we inevitably surrender over the NIP.

He will retire comfortably to the HOL and be a reliable source of brexity sarcasm and obstruction thenceforth.

And my, there’s a lot of pork meat there to stop incoming reaching Johnson.

Here’s one of Cornwall’s 5 star hoteliers describing the damage to her long standing family business from the loss of quality EU workers,

“In 2019, about half the staff were non-British. Palmer attributes the identity and the success of the hotel – one of just two in the county with five stars – to them. “There is no chance we would be where we are now without the skills of people coming from other countries.”

Global Britain, how is it going?

…oh dear

So, apparently the new German government is looking to change the rules of the EU. On the one hand it seems to be seeking further integration (moving towards UKIP's bogeyman of a 'federal Europe'); on the other it seems to want the European Parliament, not just the Commission, to be able initiate legislation (moving away from UKIP's 'anti-democratic institution').

Was the UK the only serious blocker of 'ever closer union'? Could our leaving, therefore, have strengthened rather than weakened the EU?

Possible, but a treaty change of such magnitude would have to meet with unanimous support from member states, which does not seem very likely.

Funny how we've taken back control of our borders but want France to police them for us.
It's weirder than that, Priti Patel wants to send our forces over there to show them how it should be done.

Just consider for one second how such a suggestion would be received if the situation were reversed.

Just another part of the hypocrisy. If she and Farage were French, they would be providing the boats!

By any measure the UK received few claims compared to EU countries, it's cat nip for the gammon who were sold a pup over borders. Egged on by these charlatans.

The never ending war with the EU. An Ulsterman and his fictional sausage deficit. The tide of millions crossing the channel.

No Mull. They're even thicker...
When you hear the inner circle now voicing bregret in public, you know the games up. Even Adenoids Nelson is shocked at the ugly graft and incompetence of the Johnson government. It’s making him look bad. He will be showing leadership now in loudly proclaiming “Brexit, we was had!” unless of course the tax dodging barrow boy he and Johnson work for, sacks him first.

I laughed at this comment in the Graun under the live feed from Parliament

Sir Desmond Swayne (Con) asks what evidence there is that tougher mask wearing policies in Scotland have made a difference.

Brexiteer asks for evidence shock.
