Wow... I found Alan Hawkshaw's music through my love of underground hip hop. The music that he made along with Brian Bennett and Keith Mansfield was superb, really on another level. What a funky guy, RIP.

On the BBC obituary it mentions that he donated 10% of his income to less well off people. Decent guy.

@HarryCrumb I found out about Alan's music from the numerous mashups that used a lot of Alan's music (especially Reverend Dan).

Sad news. He did alot of corking stuff over the years. A great writer, producer & musician.

He always produced a great keyboard sound.
