Yes! It’s very simple and is pretty much in use all the time

Some trunking maybe, or chase a channel in the wall. Messy work, but if it's a fairly permanent setup might be worth it longer term.

We have equipment both sides of a fireplace in our front room, and stupidly I didn't think about cabling when the fireplace went in, so there's no neat way to get the cables around the hearth. So, i actually have the cables routed around the fireplace on the outside of the house. If it's an external wall you could try something like that instead
