I really never liked them but they appealed to music journalists.I've come to the slightly reluctant conclusion that The KLF was pure nonsense. I realise that might well have been the intention, but on latter listening the music has revealed itself to be largely guff that has not dated well.
In their favour, they are quite entertaining if you appreciate the situationist mindset.
The new version of Chill Out is very good indeed.
