Good thread though
Still sounds good to me on the live 2004 'Still Of The Night' DVD, though it's difficult to tell how much of that was touched up in post-production. Bootlegs on youtube show his voice was still good during the 90s. Later live performances have gone steadily down hill (see 2012 Japan and 2017 Birmingham DVDs for example), but if we're talking about singers in their prime then that's neither here nor there...Honourable mention to Coverdale - after '86 or so his voice was shot.
