They’re still one helluva team, some of their passing around Everton was brilliant, really fast & accurate and they were properly robbed with the 3rd goal (that would have stood last season) They’re still going to be the team to beat but they might not get as many decisions go their way this time.

If they do lose VVD, dreadful challenge btw, I think they’ll struggle. It’ll also be interesting if Klopp gets all the grief Pep got when his best defender was missing nearly all season.

The amount of TalkSport advertising really annoys me too. I do get that's how the station pays for itself. However, it's the same on Sky TV. You are paying a subscription premium and then being bombarded with advertising. I wish they would pay they Premier League less money so that they could get rid of TV advertising and concentrate on pure TV content. Unfortunately, it's probably never going to happen that way ;-(

Disappointed with Arsenal. I only watched the first half as I went to the cinema but I feel we play to passive against top four teams.

I suspect nowt will happen, what would the charge be ? serious and foul play'? If so, it would mean that the ref and VAR had got it wrong... just move on

I've only seen the tackle once and very briefly. It looked reckless to me. However, I don't think there will be any retrospective punishment. They are very reluctant to go down that road as it just undermines the fundamental reason for having VAR. Yes, VAR didn't work in that incident and I think there will be an internal investigation into why it failed. VAR will get better as it develops but it will always be subjective to a degree.

Managed to watch the whole game and did not sling a bottle through the TV screen . Exciting with little islands of quality football breaking out through the rest of it. I am still gobsmacked that Pickford escaped any punishment for what was an assault on another player and also saddened that he appeared to have no regret or remorse for what he had done .
Richarlison seems to be that type of player were if he feels he is being fouled and no action is taken then he takes it on himself to dish out retribution with the inevitable results .
I accept that I am biased but I have seen the stills and watched the replays and I still can not see how Mane is offside . There is something not right with VAR decisions and they need to start having proper communication about what is going on .
All things considered i can be happy with a draw but less happy that Virgil is seeing a specialist today and we will find out how bad things are . I am keeping fingers crossed that we get away with a month out but I think that may be just as a portugeuse colleague used to say hopeful wishing .

Major bummer. Only upside is that what used to be a career ending injury is no longer. LFC needs Matip to step up and fill VVD's role for the rest of the season. A tall ask given Matip's injury history, but there's always hope!
