Recommended movies etc on Netflix/Amazon Prime II

Has anyone watched Schitt's Creek, someone recommended it and we watched the first episode last night, I didn't think it was very good, does it improve?

I haven’t watched Schitt’s Creek, but I have friends who rave about it, but say you have to get over the first five episodes or so before it gets good.

I like Terry Prachett's Hogfather on Amazon Prime. It might be a tv mini series. It's Christmas themed, but really unique and funny.

Luckily each episode is only 20 minutes long, might make it past 5 if we watch one a day.

Yes it does get better, I really like it but it’s not for everyone.

The episodes are quite short so easy to dip into.

Being a little subversive here but ‘Us’ on BBC 1 with the ever excellent Tom Hollander is an absolutely stunning piece of work.

Approach with caution if you are long married though.

And on that note, I'm enjoying 'Life' too, although I keep wanting to punch Peter Davison's character, he's so unlikeable.

Very good actor is Peter Davidson, I’ve only watched the first episode. Shows promise.

On Prime: Pop! The Science of Bubbles.

The physics and applications (e.g., medicine) were interesting. A bonus was learning how sound waves create cavitation, which can be used for cleaning records.

Excellent documentary by Dr. Helen Czerski. Or maybe I'm just a sucker for fit, good-looking British scientists.
