Comet Neowise .... seen once every 6,766 years.

It was *just* visible with the naked eye, so a long exposure was necessary to get it to show up at all.

If you look closely you can see two tails. The lower, broad one is the comet’s dust tail. The much fainter, slightly blue one pointing almost straight up is the comet’s ion tail.

The view from the ISS was a bit better.
