Pop!!! fizz

Not what you want to hear when you are taking photos!
I was using my D850 grip and ring flash snapping bees on my borage, it went pop fizz and I switched off fast, turns out a Energiser battery (cell) in the ring flash had gone pop and leak.
I neutralised the leaked fluid with vinegar and clean water and everything seems o/k.

Yes it was fine thank goodness, it’s not the sort of sound you want to hear next to your face!

Glad to hear it and indeed - the D850 is replaceable but your face is not!
