More potential Tory sleaze

I'm almost certain it's real. Here's another from what looks like the same event (like you, I'd love to know the context):

In this one, the other people in shot look to be having an OK time so it's not as powerful as the one with the cowering child. Also, the metaphor of Johnson pushing Johnson ("pulling strings") is missing.

That’s another absolute cracker. There’s an exhibition to be had here! Johnson looks pissed or coked to hell and obviously perfectly happy in the company of sleazy pornographers. It fits conceptually with the video of Johnson rugby-tackling the child to the ground, just this time he’s stolen their fairground ride.

PS I just checked Desmond’s Wikipedia entry and much to my astonishment he had a stake in International Musician & Recording World. I used to buy that back in the early ‘80s!

Coldwar Steve’s speed and attention to detail is just astonishing. Political satire at its absolute best.

Except he's rapidly becoming a bit of a one-trick pony; variations on a theme, same elements just being shifted around. It will get very stale soon.

At present he is mainly satirising the government response to covid 19. His wife is a care-worker on the front line so it is very personal. There is obviously a degree of repetition as it is the same people screwing things up day after day. Even so he reacts remarkably fast and hits the nail on the head repeatedly.

It looks like there’s serious problems ahead for Johnson’s already tarnished party image. In addition to the fresh conviction of one of his now ex-MPs (Charles Elphicke) for sexual offences, a former Minister has now been arrested on suspicion of far more serious offences,

The court heard evidence that Elphicke had chased the victim while chanting “I’m a naughty Tory”.
Quite sad really,

The Observer report says that the Times says that Jacob knew about it as well ............. :oops: https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/aug/01/former-minister-arrested-sexual-assault-charge
The Sunday Times reported that a fellow Conservative MP first raised the woman’s allegation with Mark Spencer, the Tory chief whip, and Jacob Rees-Mogg, the leader of the House of Commons, after speaking to the alleged victim a month ago. The Press Association said that Spencer had advised her to make a formal complaint.

If Rees Mogg has attempted to cover up a crime as serious as rape one would hope he’d be thrown out as an MP at the very least.

There's no suggestion he tried to cover anything up. A 'fellow MP' raised the allegations with Rees-Mogg and the Chief Whip, and the latter suggested that the victim make a formal complaint. I would imagine there would be issues around the confidentiality of the complainant if Rees-Mogg had spoken to anyone else about the allegations.

<moderating>

Just to reiterate what Lordsummit said do not post any suggestions as these are Tories, they own/feel they are above the law, have huge wealth and they will unquestionably sue for libel. FWIW I can’t even find a name on Twitter after much searching, and if random anonymous blurts are being careful there I need to monitor this place exceptionally carefully.

PS If I get sued I promise I will find and sue the poster for everything they have, and maybe more!
