Did you throw a object for Ludo ?

We probably threw a stick for that one, although he had already been in a few times without prompting.

I would have said , Go GET it YOURSELF , IT'S bloody freezing

He's a Labrador so there is no such thing as "too cold"!!!

We do carry wetsuits in the motorhome but haven't got around to going in swimming with him yet!

The weather was very wet and wild for Ludo's walk this morning so it was full-on wet-weather hill walking gear for us and the Equafleece for him. That does a great job of keeping him clean although he still puts a good effort into getting the exposed bits muddy:

There's stands a man with a treat in his hand!

Betsy has to suffer the rain, and she hates it. Trouble is we can't find a coat that fits, they're either long enough, but then far to big around the chest, so fall off when she does the whole body shake thing, or they fit the chest, but are too short, and she gets a wet arse.... and does the whole body shake thing!

My wife was indeed giving him a treat!

Equafleece will custom make them if necessary so might be worth checking that out. Our dog is quite an off size for a Labrador (short legs but strongly built with a broad chest) and one of their standard ones fitted, as they do quite a range of sizes. We have their Dog Suit and it's like a dog onesie with no real chance of it coming off in use.

Ludo likes the rain and doesn't seem to get cold - so the suit is more to save us cleaning time than it is for him!
