Thanks so much for starting this thread . I have been liasing with a number of concerned members as its been closed for quite a while now . sadly it was deluged with the most horrific spam threads on fake passports and all sorts of Russian and chinese spam . I guess it was all too much for the much loved owner and i can understand this . hopefully the members can find a way to keep in touch via pfm or other forums .

I am really sad at the thought that Cyrus Unofficial might have shut down. My hi fi history is indelibly linked to the CU site. I have made friends, lost friends sadly and received so much help and advice over so many years - since owning my first Cyrus amp. Is there anything we can do?

I'm also sorry about the loss of this friendly and helpful forum. There's a great deal of expert advice in the archives that will possibly be lost.

I have a mobile phone contact number for Chris Allen (callen) if an old CU member wishes to contact him. He’s not really mobile though. And argustimewas is also on PFM as am I, julianh on CU.

Pity as I was very interested in new Cyrus One Cast. If you haven't seen it, you don't need an app just run Spotify, Tidal, Amazon etc and just cast it to the amp. Hopefully they will bring out a Stream cast next.
