An observation that Bercow and Swinson appear to have overlooked when undermining our prime minister and his negotiators.

We live in a parliamentary democracy and Parliament has expressed clear opposition to a "no deal" exit. All that Bercow has said is that he will do everything in his power to ensure that the will of Parliament is followed. Johnson, on the other hand, has made it clear he intends to leave with or without a deal at the end of the month, regardless of Parliament. It is Johnson who is in the wrong here.

Is 'gaslighting' binging on Ingrid Bergman movies?

Depends if they're fed a diet of 5h1te again this time. And which takes priority of the leaver trinity of reasons. If its "gullible", maybe.
Now’s the moment of maximum risk for the Brexit project unless of course there’s a GE with the Brexit Company going mano a mano with Johnson and they cancel each other out. Johnson’s circus on Saturday will hopefully go the way of all his previous efforts.

Manufacturing jobs have almost disappeared (about 10% of GDP). Retail and delivery of new products will be in for a hit in the next 20 years. Driverless lorries or a number of lorries with 1 driver; drone delivery of parcels etc. So we don't make products, we don't repair and we don't deliver.

10% is still a lot.

Minford/Thatcher started the job in the 80s and you want Minford/ERG to finish the job of completely wiping out all primary and secondary industry in the UK.

Government faces industry backlash on Brexit plans

"Collectively, the sectors employ 1.1 million people, contributing £98bn to the UK economy each year.... the letter warns of the "damage which would be done by the current approach on regulatory divergence"

this looks like yet another heads-up to the high class lads in drowning street, that their approach (in fact, any approach) to brexit will be highly damaging. this is from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, the Chemical Industries Association, the Food and Drink Federation, the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry and the aerospace industry. i doubt though that it will have much impact. after all, what does industry know about, ummmm, industry? and, in the words of der fuhrer, "f*ck business".

have to luvvitt.

brexit - your future in their hands

In the 1970s the manufacturing figure was 30% of GDP, and for every manufacturing job there are 4 or 5 supply jobs.

Maximum risk would be if our friend Corbyn retired.

You know, I get the impression if your special interest was pigeon fancying rather than elementary arithmetic/GCSE Modern Studies, you’d be able to run endless Brexit-influence by pigeons posts.

They’ll have been making their position clear in private to the government, now they’re going public. I’m somewhat surprised they've kept their council for so long. The crazy thing is that the Tory Party is now prepared to watch them disinvest and move out to Europe. Farage, Tice and Mogg I can understand- they are the front of house staff for vulture capitalists and hedgers who will make a killing from the ruins.

The pro-Brexit faction argues that we’ll be able to trade with all sorts of people and places, and do all sorts of deals which being in the EU prevents us from doing. For the sake of argument, let’s assume that’s correct. If so, and if what you say here is also correct, what exactly do you imagine we’re going to be able to offer in trade to all these new partners?

In the short and medium term whatever happens it will be business as usual, Europes biggest threat is Italy going belly up not Brexit. Longer term our greatest threat to jobs will be AI.

Just tried to buy two items from German ebay...got flagged up as "For tax reasons it is currently not possible to buy from this seller. We apologize for any inconvenience and recommend that you search for similar items from other sellers.{e66662-1034346x}"

Got to be brexit?
