Training with circuits

hi - i live in surrey. i am interested in building a Kondo neiro clone but would like some help with how to wire point to point from a circuit diagram. I am happy to pay for one hour of tuition. Obviously only qualified engineers please!

Even if you are going to hand wire, you need to consider layout a lot before you start joining. Heavy items need supporting. Are there common connections that you want near to each other? Connections leaving a circuit should be on the edges etc. Even without a board it needs 'designing' before you start soldering. Unless you want a huge mess of wires on a table..
 
Maybe consider two hours, first one for tuition and second hour used after build for them to check and help correct any mistakes?

Good luck with the build, you'll have to post pictures of it all (and the case of course). It's a very satisfying thing to have a working awesome amp you've built yourself, even if it's someone else's design.
 
I've already explained to the OP a few weeks ago why it's impossible to clone a Neiro....

I have a lifetimes experience as a pro electronic engineer specialising in hi fi and have been chief engineer with a well known brand and I couldn't do this... so good luck....

As I said, unless you can get genuine Kondo Neiro output transformers its a non starter. This is like building a Ferrari GTO kit car... it may look the part from 20 yards away but with a Chevy V8 engine instead of the unobtainable genuine 1960's Ferrari V12 GTO engine it's a pale imitation... and the output transformer is as much the heart of a valve power amp as the V12 engine is to a real Ferrari!
 
Well maybe he can get himself 90% of the way there and be happy with his creation.

I take it that those output transformers are easy to spec in a basic form but materials and exact design are just not going to be available without somebody tearing apart an original. Which ain't surely going to happen!

Still, may get him partway there and with a lot of satisfaction.
 
when i say a clone i understand that it's not an exact clone but i have been very happy with my m7 clone. If the neiro is 90% there i am a happy bunny.
 
M7 doesn't need pure unobtainium silver wound audio transformers, "hand wound on mount Fuji by ninja masters" and is dead easy to clone;)
 
yeah i know what you mean. i usually get it checked over by a qualified person before turning it on. Hifi is fun but it's not worth dying for!
