You are absolutely ignorant if it comes to American reality . Just the fact that he survived in the business is a success. You're whole logic regarding a failed business entreprise is laughable.
If any Americans posting on this forums had any true balls they would enlighten you about the realities but they are just hypocritical bums.

The fools who support him will begin to fold once they begin to experience the hardship that the gov shutdown & his other mismanagement will bring - I give it till the end of next week before you see the first mass exodus of support for him.

Yea, is it 3 or 4 bankruptcies? I can't remember. In time, I'm sure we will find out exactly how "he survived in business"

Bankrupting/destroying the US will be his greatest achievement, however.

It's not logic, it's documented, verifiable fact. The man has gone bankrupt several times. He couldn't even get a casino to make money, for heaven's sake. What sort of a businessman does that make him?

A pretty successful one looking at his empire don't you think so?

Of course, you've done better ...

'Ere we go again ...

All of you that have done so much better :D
Yep, I haven't laundered money for dodgy Russians; I haven't cost people their jobs and livelihoods through business ineptitude. I think that puts me well ahead, but you seem to disagree. That's OK, we don't have to agree.

He was born a multi-millionaire/billionaire and is now worth far, far less than if he’d just stuck the money in the bank and lived on the interest! He won’t publish his accounts as they will almost certainly prove a) a lot of illegality, and b) that his illusion of “wealth” is actually loaned/borrowed/hocked or otherwise negative money (i.e. it is suspected he is worth $zero or less). I’m prepared to bet most of us here are actually worth more, e.g. I own absolutely everything I have outright, have nothing at all on credit, and have a fair bit of savings too! Trump has only ever been a spoilt rich kid bullshitter, if in doubt research his life a little. He has unquestionably moved backwards financially from where he started. Most of us here will have done the opposite!

^^ If he survives he will end up richer than he started thanks to pay-offs from a Saudi Prince, a Russian Emperor and probably several others. All Trump Organised Crime deals/income will have to be investigated by the next administration.

Yes, than halving what I started with, and whats more without being a total **** too.
Watch the Youve Been Trumped videos for a pre presidential, UK Trump narrative - Alex Salmond comes out pretty well too.
Then find out how the golf courses are doing today and ask yourself if they were a good investment.

He's the best businessman. Nobody does business like him. Mexico are going to pay for the wall. Ooops.

This myth of him being a great business man is one of the major lies that has to be exposed - it's one of the lies that his supporters hold dear - the other one of him being a dealmaker has long ago been exposed as a sham.

Too much bs is allowed to go unchallenged by MSM - all the bs about the border & terrorists needs to be put to bed - it's a band of liars reading off the same script - Nielsen, DOJ, Sanders, etc.

The fools who support him will begin to fold once they begin to experience the hardship that the gov shutdown & his other mismanagement will bring

Wrong - they will get angrier and more entrenched because Fox News will tell them it's the fault of liberals who want no borders so as to allow lots of democratic voters into the US.

Look how few Brits have changed their minds on Brexit despite the obvious clusterf*ck that Brexit has become. When these people's prejudices collide with reality they simply get more angry. Minds are not changed.

Maybe I'm just naive but I'm of the opinion that enough of them can be awakened if the emotional link they have to Trump is weakened/broken - this is not about using logic to convince people but rather allowing people to come to their own realisation that they would be fools to continue supporting a conman.

Of course they need some viable alternative & it's up to the Dems to provide a real alternative by their actions of reforming the system (this is where my optimism/cynicism battle one another).

Of course there will be a hard core of Birchers et al still supporting Trump but there's little can be done about that

You don't need to 'turn' any of them. Just get the registered voters who don't bother to vote, to vote. Same for Brexit.
Australia fines citizens who can't be bothered to vote.

Agreed, the feet gradually being revealed as clay, or something more pungent will help persuade some though. Remember the wobble over Trump siding with Putin over his CIA intelligence - the "can't see why it would be them" v "can't see why it wouldn't" fiasco? Only time he has been wobbled at the thought of upsetting his base.

When they finally get to the nub of his tax affairs (paying tax is for losers) and the extent of his financial and political involvement with foreign states, the squealing will get a little louder. Granted there are nutters who would follow him into the crapper, but there are many others who will be peeved by some of what crops up. Being taken for cnuts over tax may well be a big deal, it did for Al Capone. :)

Yank , I bet my monthly rent you live in such neighborhood...

I'll accept PayPal. My area was built up between 1890 and WWI. It's not quite inner-city, but it's definitely not the suburbs. There's a decent amount of foot traffic, and I'd rate the racial and socioeconomic inclusiveness as "pretty good". Think "bungalow", or "Portland in Arkansas" and you've got it.

As for Trump, with a Democrat-majority House he knows his legislative agenda is done for at least two years, it's already a lame duck Presidency. Digging in is his last chance to get the stupid boondoggle wall, which would just be another monument to his ego.
