Silly man. Borderline racism? Really. That is desperation mate

So if I describe a bloke from Wales as a Welshman that's also racism is it? See how silly your comment is?

You are Scottish I take it. Your political views from what I've seen here are well to the right of centre. That makes you a Tory in my book.

Hence my description of you as a Scottish Tory. I'm more than happy to stick with that as I see no evidence to the contrary. If it bother you, tough.

I'm always happy to engage. Especially with people well out of their depth. It means I can have one hand tied behind my back, a pint in the other and watch the football . . . and still be able to run rings round you.

Crack on Scotty Tory.

Using a person's nationality along with some description that has been selected to be offensive is exactly racism. You whimper when called a working class zero, but think you have some right to be offensive to anyone who doesn't agree with you.

I really think you sound like a kid who has just started secondary school. Picks on someone who will be a pushover and then thinks other kids will back off. Not me pal. "If it bother you, tough", "still be able to run rings round you", "I win" are phrases I haven't come across for 50 years. You have been told a few times you are aggressive, I disagree, you are just infantile.

I don’t agree at all. I am certain both Conservatives and Labour have underestimated just how many of us want to throw a spanner into any kind of ‘hard Brexit’ scenario. My bet is the voteshare of all the minor progressives will increase substantially as they are the only ones voicing the concerns of the 48% and also the young voters who have seen the door slammed on any EU prospects they had. Both Labour and Conservative look very much like ‘old people’s’ parties to me now. Archaic dinosaurs so entrenched in ideology they can no longer act in the national interest. I’ve no idea how the increased voteshare will translate into seats, but it will have some impact, and given that two out of the past three elections have resulted in a hung parliament that looks like a very likely outcome to me.

I'm pragmatic and I'm not about to stake my future on one - nor put my faith in the DUP or any other group of odd balls prepared to forego 80% of their pledges for a few years in the limelight.

Harry is saying what I am saying. Make it a straight fight between Socialism and Free Market Conservatism and I have little doubt that the majority of voters have simply seen enough cuts to endure another four years of the latter. Anything else and that is what you will get. A 'hung' parliament will mean the Tories can buy off enough minority politicians to get through major policy commitments.

You know this. It's a simple fact. I don't doubt that, should the Libs for instance, go to the electorate promising a second referendum, their share of the vote will increase. Primarily however at the expense of Labour and not enough to generate a large enough swing in actual seats in the Commons.

If you want to rid yourself of the current lot, and even Tories I speak to want to do that, then the only option you face is to vote for a genuinely socialist alternative which will be committed to addressing the growing inequality in our society and targeting social welfare rather than that of the top 5%. As for Brexit, as I reminded you (you seem to have ignored the fact), it pales into insignificance next to the bail out of the banks. Yes it will hurt and no, I don't want it. I am however prepared to be pragmatic rather than dogmatic. If you prefer to be the latter then you will be completely ineffectual in removing the current administration from power.

Am I bovvered? Not me pal, to quote your own words ;-)
You really are a vindictive clot.

The straight fight that Merlin also supports is the only solution to the current mess.

We know what the Tories have to offer to British society as a whole. Nothing. We know that because the evidence has been there for the last eight years. With Brexit we'll get the misery we have endured but with nobs on.

Whatever the question is, the answer can never be 'vote Conservative'

If you want to play your part in destroying the NHS then vote Conservative.

If you want more austerity the Tories have already said that's on the cards.

If you want tax increases then vote Tory cos they're said they'll do that.

The Tories have brought schools to the point where they are begging parents for money and teachers leaving in droves. Is that what you want?

In Tory hands Brexit will destroy jobs, put the economy further in the sh1t and depress wages even further. But rich people will be fine.

If you want that on your conscience then go ahead and vote Tory when the opportunity comes.

May responded with an emotional appeal for party unity at a ball for party donors in London. Describing the stakes as high, the prime minister said: “We each have a choice to make. Will we come together and stand together as a party, as a government and as a country?

“Will we find the boldness, the courage and the discipline to unite as one for the good of our nation and fellow citizens? Or will we be divided and allow the scale of the challenge, the complexity of the questions to overwhelm us?”

She has some good writers but why is she letting stuff like this be so low profile? Hidden away it puts no pressure on the likes of Mogg and Johnson. As for her questions, now let me think... I think we will go for the being divided and allowing the scale of the challenge, the complexity of the questions to overwhelm us option.

There's an old saying that you should only ask a question when you already know the answer, so probably best not to ask these ones to a wider audience .

Her early language about Brexit was about as divisive as it possibly could be. She's reaping the whirlwind and I have zero sympathy for her.

My comment concealed no sympathy. It was more about incompetence, lack of leadership and lack of visibility. Remember her nickname was 'submarine May' and she continues to be submerged.

Her levels of incompetence are only matched by her lack of compassion and emotion. Remember Grenfell.

Whenever I watch and listen to her my overriding thought is this is a woman without children. I genuinely think that is significant.

The difficulties and pressures she's dealt with would have forced a 'normal' person to throw the towel in. The fact she hasn't tells you that all that concerns her is being in charge.

Three examples of that:

The DUP deal.
Repeatedly refusing to sack Boris
Allowing Dimwit David Davies to get his own way.

Damaging the Tory Party, the country or anything is of no concern to her. She's a shrink's playground.

But the only reason she's been allowed to cling to her throne is because of the gutless b'stards around her.

There are plenty of compassionate people who don't have children. I'm one of them :)

There are plenty of people with children who lack compassion.

It's not relevant either way.

1. I was talking about a woman. I assume you're a bloke.

2. I'm sure there are plenty of compassionate people without children. I know plenty.

3. I'm sure there are lots of people with kids who lack compassion. I didn't suggest otherwise

4. I didn't say "all people without children lack compassion". It would be a totally stupid thing to say. That's why I didn't say it. No need to suggest I did

Go on then tell us why that is genuinely significant as the connection seems lost on most folk.

I've already explained it in my original post. Lack of compassion and emotional intelligence.

How is the stalking going?

Why not respond to the points above about Thatcher and Rees Mogg?

PS how did you get hold of the PMs medical records and also find out the intimate secrets of her bedroom?

At least if she had kids she’d be more personally invested in the damage brexit will do to the majority that didn’t vote for it. A few ‘WTF Mum!?’ tweets could only help.
