Suppliers thread - Where to buy various parts (primarily UK/Europe)

I would very hihgly recommend QTA systems

I have bought various bits and pieces and these have been to quality and very good value for money.

They do excellent speaker stand spikes for Linn Isobariks. Also the Velcro strips that hold on the foam grills are the exact replacement, just cut to size.

Single sided, silk screened, soldermask, 83mmx137mm five boards for 57USD delivered.
Seeeds prices seem to have come down since Russel posted this in 2014. I just received 5 boards, 100mm x 100mm, 2 layer, soldermasked, silk screened for USD 19!

We do a range of components, transformers, modifications, CD transports.
Sic Safco Felsic CO39 for HiCaps, SuperCaps, 555PS
Sic Safco Promisic for Naim pre-amps and active crossovers
Kendeil 22,000uF for HiCaps and Supercaps etc
Various other Kemet capacitors for NAP180 / XPS etc

PCBway - stupidly cheap, fast & good.

http://www.pcbway.com

e.g. 10 boards 100x100mm FR4/1.6mm, 2 layer, masked, silk-screen, HASL, 6mil feature....

USD 10 the lot (10 boards) + P&P. 5 day or less turn-around.

I've used them several times with great success.

Hi...The only way to get a low cost PCB (<$2.00 apeace) and I am assuming that the PCB is 2" square is to either make them your self. Overseas is really not an option since they like to make PCB's in volume, large volume. Assembly is another issue, since it will probably cost you (at this volume) more than $2.00 per board, even if you supply the parts. It is really to low of a volume for automation. If you are looking for the best value for prototype PCB's, I have found and use on a regular basis is 4pcb When you run their $33 (2 layer upto 60 sq-in) or $66 (4 layer upto 30 sq-in), you get a good deal. Even though you purchase 4 and get 5, I usually build a couple of prototypes and use one for reference. The boards are high quality prototype boards and you get them made in 5 days and with the online DFM, I think that it is a good deal. The Barebones I have not done since I can make my own barebones PCB's and like to have the silkscreen and legends for easier assembly.

WELLPCB - rapid prototype and assembly
their minimum order is at least one board, I ordered a small order of 10pc, 2 layers, five days mail to me, the quality of the boards are fine.

I am pretty happy with the boards I received from https://www.jlcpcb.com, and the price is cheaper than most of other pcb production factories. The 100% E-testing was very nice too. I just finished ordering our second set.

Yea, recently i also bought pcb from jlcpcb.

indeed, its quality is very good,no difference with i bought from seeedstudio.
The key is 10pcs boards. 1.2mm thick, 1-OZ copper, 6/6-mil outer (0.1525mm) just cost $2.

I'm sure others have noted this, but the last for 4 posts have been made by users on their very first post. It kind of destroys the credibility of the whole thread. Cannot the minimum number of posts rules be applied to this thread as per advertising items for sale? Happy to have this post deleted, if the previously 4 posts are too.

Agreed... sign up, make 1 post about a company you 'have used' and never come on the forums again... Suspect imo!

I just ordered 10 Quasimodo snubber PCBs from Seeedstudio's Fusion service. I'll post pics when they arrive. They're made in China and $4.90 US + postage for 10 off. For that you get up to 100x100mm, 2-layer, 1oz, 6 PCB colour choices, black or white silkscreen, HASL. Lead-free is $12.90 but I got the cheaper leaded ones.

Let's see what arrives :)

The Seeedstudio boards arrived a couple of days ago:

They look really nice, much better than the crappy iPhone picture above. I've got no complaints at all. Sure, production/shipping was slow... but c'mon, it's $5 for 10 boards!

Verdict? 10/10. Would use again.

Douk Audio Cases from eBay. These are supplied from a UK warehouse, so not quite cheap China pricing, but rapid delivery. Case comes flat packed and the quality is excellent.

I've use this supplier in China for 4 Ali boxes.

Great service. No quibble returns either. One box he supplied was badly scratched. I sent him a picture through eBay and he sent me a replacement without any argument at all.

All are heavy and come flat packed.
