Anyone measured the power consumption of the M-dac when switched on but unused?

I think someone mentioned about 20W, but that was we back in the early days of the thread, so it might be hard to track down...

My Argos-type meter used to say 15W. Maybe it will again tomorrow, when the M-DAC-L2-TOY returns. Tomorrow?? The tracking website merely says it was shipped to Holland on 22nd...

(I beg the website's pardon; it must have been updated very recently. Should anyone care, it now says: Item was accepted on 24.06.2013 at the Office of Exchange in destination country)

Can't wait to hear how the toy sounds.

Ps cheers, 15-20 watts is negligible. I would have thought more as it has a class A output.

What's the rest of your HiFi, what software version are you running on the Mdac

No, and its frustrating as Charcroft themselves have plenty of stock, but can't / won't supply anywhere near the HiFiCollective price...
