Well, not the friendliest thread iv'e come accross. Of course the cd8200cdq is on sale. There are always capacitors that need upgrading unless you are paying Sugden Masterclass prices. I was enquiring if anyone knows about the pre-amp section. Obviously no one does. Sorry, I am on the wrong forum for that. Goodbye. Try to be nicer when someone joins a thread. It is not a closed shop.

How can I be nice and ask these questions?

Why are you offering to mod a CDP that it not yet available (at least in the UK), when it is desgined by a very well respected designer and you cannot fix a Creek 4040?

Why would the capacitors on a brand new bit of kit need replacing?
