There is a WAD KEL84 described just as a ''valve amplifier'' in Middlesbrough.
The script says collection only, though there is a postage price also given?

As @snowman_al knows, I've just finished building a KEL84 Integrated which is so good I'm looking for another, preferably the power amp version. Collection from Middlesborough is out of the question for me.

Superb amp IMO, pretty much a modern Stereo 20. Could be a bargain.

I contacted the seller and he says that collection is preferred, not ruling out it being posted

I think the seller’s claim that it’s 7 years old is an underestimate. It’s clearly a WAD design but WAD became WD at some time during the period from 2005 to 2010 when Peter Comeau owned the company.

Every time I read the description I wonder where commas could go...

There’s a posting on the WD forum, made at virtually the same time as my previous post, saying that it it could be as much as 21 years old, and in need of a service. There’s also the issue of who built it, DIY or in-house.
