I know Darren, I've just seen it on another forum (that AJ linked too) - what a small world.

jimi, I've taken the liberty of changing your tags from url to img. That way, your pictures are visible to everyone without having to click on the links.

Nice system, I bet it sounds great.

Tiger, I'm terrible at describing how things sound, but I'm really pleased with them. They work really well with my naims and have a punchy fast sound that I love.

Obviously, they cannae change the laws of physics, but they sound surprisingly big - for real bass, I resort to a nait 2 and Mark 1 Kans ; - ) . I've got them to work in a couple of different rooms without any effort (and they even look 'cute', so I'm told!).

Well worth a listen.

At the moment, I have them about 25 cm from the wall, but in my old place they were maybe not much more than 15 cm, and they were fine, even when played pretty loud.

Origin Live Aurora Gold turntable, Encounter MK3 arm, Shelter 501 MK2 cartridge running in a Whest Audio Phonostage 20.
Crappy Arcam cd player, Sony Minidisc all tied to a Lectron PA-50 valve pre amp and then to a Hiraga le Classe A power amp.
All on a Townsend Seismic Sink stand because I have bad earthquakes over here :)
Speakers are the Dutch "Translator Agaat".
Oh yes, a lovely Rickenbacker bass too!

Here's my setup:

Lenco L75 in a heavy CLD plinth (MDF & birchply).
Michell TecnoArm.
Denon DL-103SA.
CineMag CMQEE-3440A MC step-up transformer.
Graham Slee Era Gold V.
ATC SIA2-150.
ATC SCM11.
Rotel RCD-951.

Cabling from SUT to phono pre and from phono to amp is Blue Jeans LC-1. Speaker cables are Mogami 3103. Speaker stands are open frame types (Heybrook/Epos types). Sonic Design SD feet are used between speaker and stands.

I clearly prioritize vinyl over CD which I suppose is evident from my setup. The Lenco is mounted on a Pro-ject wall shelf ("Wallmount it 2") but with a heftier ply board in place.

The Lenco has a very big and dynamic and "live" sound. Music flows effortlessly from this idler and it bested my Garrard 401 which is now relegated to the reserve bench. :)

I like the 103SA too. It tracks securely (no sibilance problems) and works very well in the Michell arm. Keeps what I like about DL-103 but performs in a more convincing manner (more hi-fi-ish).

The SCM11's just keeps on surprising me with the amount of quality bass from such relatively small enclosures and the ATC amp just does its thing with no fuss. :)

What I'd like in the future: Bigger ATC speakers and an SME turntable please. :)

Greetings from Denmark.
