Rogers Studio 3 and Rogers AB3 auxiliary bass thingies. On HNE Granite plinths, with granite intermediate and top plates. Bi- wired with Pentacone speaker wire.

Mains: Dedicated spur for power amps. Dedicated ring main for everything else, made with 30 amp cable and MK unswitched sockets.

Bathroom system:

PS. It is evident that many of you either have no kids, or no life, or you suffer from OCD. I mean.. all those acres of totally dust-free laminate flooring... all those spotless, shiny systems! If there's a secret.. let me know and I'll tell the wife.

God! Seems like a long time ago!

Hi All,

Here's my system :-

Arcam 10 integrated (converted to power - little switch under the lid)
Arcam 10P bi-amping

My system (but not for long...)

Naim CD5x, 112x, 150x, FC2x, Dynaudio Contour 1.3mk2, Grahams Hydra, Chord Co Odyssey.

Started in the mid 80's with....

LP12
32.5
Hi-cap
135's
Isobariks
Sound Organisation rack

And after various changes is currently....

CDS3/XPS2
52
Supercap
Olive 135's
NBL's
Isoblue

No more changes in the pipeline....superlative to my ears anyway :D

VU meters and hilarious reading.....

That will be Luxman then.

Hiarious reading indeed...and just what is that on the integrated?...is it?....can it be?...it is! tone controls....

I dislike tone controls immensely. Having said that, I have a Harman Kardon amp in a 2nd system which is positively festooned with dials, knobs, switches. Damn fine-sounding amp mind you (with tone-defeat switched to 'on').

Jezzer, I don't actually use the tone controls and the bulbs went out on the vu meters a long time ago. accuphase amps are bloody marvellous.
