Miles / Aura. I've never payed this before (it's the final disc in the Columbia box and I mostly don't care for the post-retirement albums). I really can't decide if I think it's any good or not! One minute it's cop show fusion, the next it's 'modern classical', then some synths and syndrums and so it goes on.

Great album, great Contemporary records 80's pressing.

Lee Morgan/Charisma. On lovely Blue Note vinyl. With Messrs McLean, Mobley. Walton, Chambers and Higgins. I feckin love Bank Holidays.

Was: Talk Talk/Laughing Stock via The Spot
Now: Herbie Hancock/Maiden Voyage via 180gm plastic. Yum.

Working through my 12" singles collection.

Talk Talk Give it up and Living in Another World
Thomas Dolby I scare myself
FGTH Two Tribes and Relax
Various Prince and Cocteau Twins to come plus whatever else pops out.

Lots of mad Kitchen Sink and everything else mixes.

Minutemen - Double Nickels on the Dime

Love is leaf-like... you and me, baby. Twinkle, twinkle, blah, blah, blah, etc.

Just finished - The Decemberists - We All Raise Our Voices to the Air (Live Songs 04.11-08.11)

Now - The Shins - Port Of Morrow

By an odd coincidence I've just ordered (as of 4 minutes ago) Port of Morrow and The King Is Dead, along with D. Boon and Friends from Amazon.

Great idea a 12" night the missus will love it. Kicking off with

Happy Mondays- Hallelujah. More of an e.p. than a 12'

Bob Dylan Freewheeling Mono on original and a little scratchy vinyl.

Still amazing recording quality and of course music.
