Time for a motorbike list

I've never really liked Kawasaki green although I did have an AR125LC in that colour back in my youth.
Get a blue one then....

no idea this thread was here, but need to do my bit ofc:)

1967: Honda Supercub C50 ofc. Not quite right for the summer of lurve, but I pulled on it. Once.
1970: BSA bantam D 14. 65 miles an hour of pure horror.
1974: Suzuki GT185. Little ram air twin. Worked this to death for 4 years, until...
1977: Kawasaki 500 twin, for a year's London couriering.
1978: Kawasaki KH 500. if you've ridden one you'll know why I'm still shaking too much to write about it.
1979: Honda CX 500 with Rickman Polaris full fairing. First new bike. Toured 10000 miles on this in 3 years. Slow but lovely.
1986: Suzuki GSX550EF. Yuk. Moving on.
there followed a slight break...
1996: New Triumph Sprint. My first 'big' bike...straight line heaven, now for some handling.
1999: Ducati ST2. This one heavily breathed on at Baines racing, silverstone. The perfect motorcycle. Barring Italian electrics.
2004: BMWR1150R. Well, if you're middle aged, you need to try a BM? Which logic produces...
2007: Piaggio X7, which left me early one morning on a mud slicked corner. brief spell mending broken bits and a stern wifely lecture about being near 60, so...
a short break (ho ho) followed.
2013: Triumph tiger 800XC, which is currently for sale.

Tiger 800XC will be replaced by what?... you are nearly 70 now, so get a race rep while you can. We have a customer that is nearly 80 and he has an 899 Panigale. Old boys on Superbikes is very encouraging to see, knowing it is just around the corner.

Maybe a whif of an immaculate Ducati ST4, 12000 miles, full carbon, termigioni's, chipped and etc for just a few grand. Yellow but you can't have everything.
If not then I'm tempted to scratch the 'never owned a...' itch.
On that list is Aprillia Tuono, Guzzi V85 and KTM adventure. I don't get on much with race reps...some bits of me no longer bend properly, so :)

Not going into my history, but still have a 1997 Triumph Thunderbird, a 1982 Hesketh V1000, a 1985 Armstrong MT500 and a KTM 370 2-stroke.

KTM 370 2 stroke? Tell me more about that. In my lifetime of dirt-biking I have not heard of this engine size.

It might actually be a 380. Ex Gulf War special forces.
i had a 2002 plate 300cc in the same chassis....main memories on the trails were: bit too tall, vibrates, hard to kick off in tricky places, powervalve setting goes from barking mad to completely insane. I wonder if the extra 80 cc addresses any of that.

I thought I had done this, but it seems not.

Always loved the look of these!
Only ridden smaller bikes, mainly many moons ago. Several 125s, a 250 and a 350.
After many years just got back on a 125 scooter. Once I'm totally happy plan to get something like the new Honda Rebel 300

I always wanted a Suzuki GT380 too - I've got a thing about 2 stroke triples, but never had one. I wonder if there are any kettles around still?

You probably would have liked it. My 380 L was a sweet little thing, smooth and refined, and the L had much improved, if still inadequate, ground clearance.

A friend of mine had the 550, great fun bike
