The Old HiFi Hard Back Year Book?

I was having a clear out of old books to go to my local charity book shop yesterday.
I won't be outing any of my old HiFi year books but wondered how thick would they be if they were still being produced today?

they would be downloadable as eBooks from the kindle store and iTunes

I have never heard of a HiFi Yearbook, sounds a bit niche even in its heyday

No, it was a must for every true hi-fi enthusiast.

Clearly I am, so it was an adult version of the Christmas Space 1999 Annual but without the Space and before 1999?

Next you will be telling me they publish an annual tally of all the Cricket Scores...

How many pages did they have in them back then?
I was just starting on the Janet and John books in 57.:D
Only started getting the HiFi year books in the very early 70s.

!957 was the second edition began in 1956 208 pages. Furthermore you could believe every word by distinguished reviewers, unlike today's lot. A very interesting Hardback published 1965 PICK UPS The Key to Hi-Fi by J Walton. Another great book is The Audio Handbook by Gordon J King 1975. Last Hi-Fi Yearbook a much larger stiff paper back 1981 has 256 pages.
