Spendor Preludes

Have Forum members any experience of Preludes ?
I understand they are SA2s in non plywood ( chipboard ? ) cabinets, and none the worse for that.
Being a BC1 owner I expect they have a similar balance.
Does around £125 sound reasonable?

I've had Preludes and SA2s and as you say the differences are only cosmetic AFAIK. I sold the SA2s on ebay about a year ago I think for around £250.
I thought they were great for acoustic and classical but didn't do rock'n'roll.
