It's certainly an interesting development, a small 1.6 crop body. It's all about lenses though, and a current range of 2 isn't exactly exciting. Still, another camera to watch!
Looks interesting. It's a shame they don't do a 'normal' pancake - 16mm (~25mm 35mm equiv) seems a bit wide as a single lens, and the zoom looks a bit too big for a pocket.
Is that right? It says you can fit 28 sony A-mount lenses with an A to E mount adaptor - perhaps they will support AF for sony lenses. Looking at there primes, the sony 35mm/f1.4 is a bit pricey/big.
Who's going to buy it? The P&S upgrader isn't going to, looks are everything (compare it to an Oly PEN with a pancake...) and its too bulky to go in a pocket. The serious amateur will stick with DSLR's.
However, I'd put money on Sony dropping their DSLR range pretty soon.
