I was assuming from his earlier posts that he didn't have much of his own meths left so it was a straightforward request. I'd have offered some Buckie but that's probably perceived as middle class by Brian's standards.

I can say without hesitation , my 21 year old self , would have had sex with the girl in that hotel room . I can see no reason why i would not conclude she wanted sex and she was not two pissed to consent .
Unlike many , i am still young enough to remember what a pillock i was as a 21 year old and the situations i got myself in to .

Me posh, that will be shining bright! Times have moved on up here and yer typical ned like Dec goes for a Jagerbomb wi' Buckie to get the evening off to a cultured start, probably around 4.00 in the afternoon. The days of meths are gone even for serious alkies.

I was in your hometown over the Christmas period (Silencers gig at Oran Mor) but sadly am not due back anytime soon. Was driving so had to stay off the Buckie...

I suspect the next time I'm in Glasgow will be for next years Silencers gig at Oran Mor, however I might schedule in a visit to that temple of all that is good Ibrox stadium if the forces of light triumph and we regain our rightful place in the top tier. Your lot must be getting bored without us by now surely?

Like any area of life football has it's share of morons. Football clubs are however Equal Opportunities employers. They may cast a glance to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Legislation. I am unhappy that mob rule seems to have influenced the actions of commercial entities.

The facts would be different, so your question would be moot.
He believed he wasn't guilty of dangerous driving.
If he'd shown some recognition that his behaviour was disreputable, regardless of the legal technicality he fell foul of, then perhaps he could have ridden it out.
It seems a straightforward enough PR exercise.
