Ruark Etude

Hi Pinkfisherbods,

Does anyone know anything about the Ruark Etude? A small stand mount speaker, roughly 35hx22wx27d cm in size? I recently saw a pair 2nd hand (not heard as yet) and they may be just the ticket if they sing on the end of a Nait2.

I may be downsizing my speakers to bookshelf size and they caught my attention - literally very little in detail online. Any help welcome.

They were a nice well made little speaker - the only caution I'd mention is that they were billed as a bookshelf speaker, but are a rear ported design so I guess may be happier with a bit of air behind them, rather than bang up against a wall.

Thanks Andrew - much appreciated. The rear porting does raise an eyebrow of concern, as the next set of speakers will have to sit on a shelf (isolated), so ideally I need something that will sit 5-10cm off the rear wall!
